The Haller Pecan Farm harvesting operation was featured in an elementary school textbook. Richard Haller is pictured on his harvester in the winter. (Unfortunately, not when the pecans are actually being harvested in the fall.) But it is wonderful that school-age children are learning about agriculture and the harvesting of a pecan crop.
